Lemming

2014 · Card Game

Lemming

Players race two small creatures across a hex‑grid board by playing landscape cards and moving their pawns toward the finish line. Most hexes are neutral grassland, while some show specific terrain types that require matching cards to enter. On a turn a player either discards and refills their hand or plays a single landscape card and then moves one creature. Cards come in five terrain suits and values 0–4; playing a card equal to or lower than the current pile lets the player sum that suit’s pile values to determine movement, while playing a higher card resets the pile and adds a new terrain hex to the board. Moving can push other creatures at the cost of movement points. The first player to get both creatures across the finish line wins.
