2025 · Card Game
Otter
Players race to empty their hands by placing animal cards onto three otter boards, each with a head-number rule and a tail-suit rule. A card may be played if it satisfies at least one rule; meeting both lets the player continue playing on that same otter until only one rule applies, enabling long combo turns. On a turn, players may draw to flip or swap an otter’s head or tail before playing, changing the applicable rules and enabling different plays at the risk of adding unplayable cards. Unused cards carry between rounds and players refill to a hand size, so timing—when to push combos or hold cards for future rounds—shapes the strategy.
