Modern Art Card Game

Players take the roles of critics and gallery owners who influence artists’ market values by playing masterpiece cards from their hand. Five artists are in play; on a turn a player plays a card to show interest in an artist, with some cards granting special actions such as an extra play, a bonus draw, boosting an artist’s value, or forcing simultaneous plays. A round ends when a threshold of works by one artist appears on the table; the most represented artists’ works are then sold for set prices. The game runs four rounds, players draw new cards between rounds, and artist values can rise based on prior success. The player with the most money after four rounds wins.
