Lee sends Longstreet to unite with him and bring the Federals to battle. The campaign includes several engagements, including Second Bull Run. Each hex represents five miles and each turn covers one day. Players command a small number of units while managing movement, evasion, and coordinated attacks. Die rolls represent the uncertainty of carrying out orders, including how far formations march and whether subordinate commanders follow plans effectively. Campaign-specific rules model the period’s operations without adding excessive complexity.
