Build Anglo-Saxon kingdoms in preparation for the Viking attack. Choose cards to expand your tableau, place them to earn rewards, recruit helpful followers, and upgrade castles. Expansion attracts more Vikings, so strengthen your defenses before the raids begin. At the end of the game, score each row only if its defense is stronger than the Viking attack.
