Nosferatu

Players take on roles in an 1887 Gothic conflict between a rising vampire, his loyal servant, and vampire hunters trying to stop him. Play proceeds in rounds of card play: players draw, discard, and secretly place action cards into a shared pile, then draw from a shifting “clock” deck that may reveal dawn. The servant knows which hunter is the vampire and manipulates the action pile by shuffling and revealing its contents. Depending on revealed cards, players resolve rituals that aid the hunters, apply bite effects that weaken hunters, or add night cards to the clock to prolong the vampire’s work. When dawn appears, the holder of the ancestral stake may attempt to stab a player to end the game; alternating victory conditions depend on correctly identifying and killing the vampire or letting the vampire complete his bites or outlast the hunters.
