On a turn, players take actions tied to their characters or claim abilities they may not hold; other players can challenge or block those claims, causing revealed cards to be lost if a bluff fails. The edition bundles the base game with an expansion that adds new roles and political mechanics, while omitting one specific figure from that expansion.
