Pacific Islands Campaign: Pelelieu/Angaur

This operational-tactical wargame simulates the 1944 US assault on the Pacific islands of Pelelieu and Angaur during World War II. Players command US Marine, Army, Navy, and Imperial Japanese forces at battalion, company, and platoon levels. Turns proceed through amphibious landing, maneuver, and combat phases, with rules covering fire support, mobility, survivability, air defense, and command and control. Units can be broken down into smaller elements, while combat multipliers must be applied effectively. Japanese forces may launch nighttime Banzai attacks, and scenarios cover either island or the campaign as a whole, with optional forces and other variants.
