Tactical World War II armored and infantry combat in the North African desert, covering engagements from mid-1940 to late 1942. Players command German, Italian, or British small formations ranging from platoons to battalions, maneuvering vehicles, towed guns, aircraft, and infantry on double-sided geomorphic mapboards with optional terrain overlays. Units are represented at 1:1 vehicle scale and squad/half-squad infantry scale; play uses a streamlined chit-based command system and includes 32 scenarios plus rules for solo play.
