Periorbis

Players represent interstellar asteroid-mining companies competing to extract, transport, and sell valuable ore. They assign employees to specialist roles such as engineer, agent, miner, captain, and scientist while expanding their operations. Nine asteroids orbit a planet, moving into and out of range of the players’ freighter fleets according to a fixed cycle. Players establish mining bases, research technology to reach distant asteroids, hire increasingly trained employees, secure contracts, and deliver ore to trading ships. Resource management and forward planning are central to building the most successful mining operation.
