Pit
An open-outcry commodity trading card game in which players try to collect a full set of one commodity. Players shout the number of cards they wish to trade ("One!", "Three!", etc.) and swap that many cards simultaneously without revealing which commodity they hold. The first player to gather all cards of a single commodity declares the corner and scores points equal to that commodity's value; play repeats until a target score is reached. Some editions add Bull and Bear cards that act as wilds or penalties, and the game supports multiple players in fast-paced rounds.
