Race to the Raft
Players cooperate as confused island cats trying to reach a raft from a smoke-filled shore. On each turn, players play pathway cards to lay routes across a gridded island while moving cat tokens toward the raft. Fire spreads each round via shaped tiles that block squares and limit available paths, forcing players to balance creating longer routes with keeping cats ahead of the flames. The game presents a sequence of scenarios and tutorials that introduce rules and increase difficulty, and players share information and coordinate card play to ensure every cat reaches the raft before its path is cut off.

Kush5.5 It is fine as far as co-ops go. It was more fun than I expected in spite of my bias against co-ops thanks to its game length, theme/production, and limited communication rules. If I played this first, I would long for a competitive take on cats & polyominoes— thankfully that already exists!
