Red Seven

1980 · Word Game

Red Seven

Players compete in partnerships using tiles that show a letter, a point value, and a card suit. Each round begins with an auction in which teams bid on a suit and the number of tricks they expect to win. Players then place words on the board, comparing word values with those played by adjacent opponents to determine tricks. The suit selected in the winning bid becomes trump, giving matching tiles a scoring bonus. After three rounds, teams score victory points based on their contracts and results.
