42
Four players form two partnerships and play with a standard Double-Six domino set. Each player is dealt seven tiles and players bid once around the table for the right to declare trump, with bids typically between 30 and 42 and a few special bids. The winning bidder leads a trick by playing a domino; subsequent players must follow suit if able, where the suit is determined by the higher end of the lead tile. Tricks are won by the highest trump present or, if no trump is played, by the highest domino of the led suit. Points come from one point per trick plus a “count” based on domino combinations that total five or ten, and matches are scored across multiple hands.
