Rifles in the Ardennes

This solitaire World War II game recreates small combat engagements in the European theatre from 1942–1944, with American, German, and Russian forces. Scenarios use a stylized track instead of a traditional map, allowing the battlefield to be customized. Players control five to ten units per side while blind chit draws, die rolls, and combat charts direct opposing forces and create fog of war. Eight missions are included, with each game lasting approximately 60–120 minutes. The generic rules can also be adapted to other historical periods and genres.
