Scourge of God: The Campaigns of the Mongolians, , 1206-1259 AD
A mainly solo strategic simulation of the Mongolian conquests from 1206 to 1259. One player directs the Mongol tribes after their consolidation under Genghis Khan, while the opposing player manages the empires resisting their advance, mostly through reactive play. Mongol forces spread across China and westward into Europe while racing against time and limited resources. The game can be played in two rounds, with players changing sides, or in a single round using a victory-point adjustment for the Mongol player.
