Players take the roles of boxers competing across 12 rounds. Each round begins with an endurance-point auction for initiative, followed by the secret or open play of attack and defense cards, including punches, feints, blocks, and dodges. Card values and tactics affect endurance and damage. Knockdowns may require a recovery attempt, while cuts and accumulated damage can lead to a knockout. A fight ends when one boxer is knocked out or after the final round, when judges determine the winner.
