K2: Big Box

Players control teams of two mountaineers racing to reach a high, hazardous summit and return alive. On each turn players play cards from an identical deck to move climbers along a mapped route, acclimatize to altitude, set up tents, or wait out weather. Weather tiles change conditions and can reduce acclimatization, making careful timing and route choice critical; other players can block paths and influence movement. The box includes multiple route boards and seasonal weather sets, plus expansions that add new peaks and scenarios. Play emphasizes hand management, tactical planning, and risk assessment for 1–5 players in sessions up to about an hour.
