2008 · Abstract Strategy
Simply Ingenious
Players draft colored tiles from a shared pool to build sets and balance collection across six colors. On a turn, a player flips tiles: non-matching flips are added to the pool and end the turn, while a matching flip lets the player either take the face-up tiles (and any matching tiles in the pool) or continue flipping. The objective is to be the first to collect a target number of tiles in every color (seven in two- or three-player games, five in four-player games); excess tiles of a color are returned to the supply. A catch-up rule lets a player take a tile of their weakest color from the pool to complete a set and end their turn. The pool is kept at three face-up tiles by revealing replacements as needed.
