Star Empires
Players pilot ships across a modular hex board to colonize systems and install trade stations. On a turn a player moves one ship in a straight line as far as desired but cannot pass through systems controlled by other players, then places either a colony or a trade station in the destination system to mark control. Trade stations score bonus points tied to adjacent opponent-controlled systems. The game ends when all colony and trade station pieces are placed or when no ships can move. Final scoring awards points for planets in controlled systems and for sets of colored nebulae, with additional points from special system tiles in optional variants.
