StarCraft: The Board Game

Players compete for control of a galaxy-spanning map of interconnected planets, placing bases and moving forces along direct and Z-axis links that can change over time. Gameplay alternates a planning phase—where players place order tokens into stacks on planets, creating or blocking action chains—and an execution phase—where players resolve topmost orders to build, move/attack, or research. Orders can be standard or special, and blocked orders may force a player to draw event cards. Each faction fields distinct unit types and upgrades, builds with resources from controlled areas, and customizes a combat deck by researching technologies that add or alter combat cards and persistent effects.
