Tembo: Survival on the Savanna

Players cooperate to guide a herd of elephants across a changing savanna, searching for food and water while avoiding lions and other hazards. On each turn, a card is played either to expand the map or to advance the herd; cards have dual uses and playable options depend on players’ seating positions, creating a layered puzzle of limited actions and shared information. The voyage ends when the herd reaches its destination or the team loses by starvation, running out of deck, or being caught by predators. Randomized layouts and events make each playthrough different and require planning and communication.
