Players cooperate to keep a single fire burning through a deck of cards that represent fuel and cold. Each card provides heat and also has a minimum heat requirement to burn, so players must sequence their plays and manage the shared heat pool to prevent the fire from dying. The game emphasizes planning and communication as the fire steadily cools between plays; players draw and play cards to maintain sufficient heat to burn the rest of the deck before the cold extinguishes the flame.
