Harmony

Players cooperate to recover four scattered relics and return them to the shrine at the heart of the forest to repair the broken cycle of seasons. Gameplay combines hand management, player-to-player deck-building (cards change hands), and exploration of a shared deck as the group travels a shifting path, confronting enemies and resolving events. The game uses an open-ended round structure where time increases danger: players must manage resources, life totals, and increasing threats while aiming to cross the final portal holding all relics. Victory requires coordination and timing; defeat occurs if the group runs out of time, lives, or resources.

Rules questions

Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.

When an Event is resolved, do I apply all three sections on the card or just one?

You resolve only the sections corresponding to the current Day and any earlier ones (at start you only apply the top section); if the Day marker advances you add the next section(s) cumulatively. Twilight sections are ignored unless you flip the Day marker to the Twilight side, in which case all twilight effects also apply (pp. 5–6).

If I put cards into Camp Storage, can I still use them later in the same or future turns?

Yes — during your Action step you may play cards from Camp Storage; when you play them they go to your discard pile at the end of your turn and re-enter your deck from then on; note some cards (Forest Guides and starting character cards) cannot be placed in Camp (p. 9).

If I remove or buy a card from the Pathway, when is the Pathway refilled?

Cards you remove from the Pathway are not replaced immediately; the board is refilled at the end of your turn unless you take a Travel action, which immediately updates the Pathway by moving cards left and filling from the deck (pp. 10–11).

What happens if we don't pay the full Portal repair cost when crossing a Portal?

You may still cross, but for each repair gem you fail to pay the Portal's energy backfires and each character loses one life per missing gem (p. 11).

If I use Enemies or Hazards to acquire a Relic, where do those cards go?

Enemies used to acquire a Relic are removed from the game (returned to the box), while Hazards used that way go to the Pathway discard pile and will return to the Journey deck when it is shuffled (pp. 10–11, 14).

How does the Shield on the Life track work when I lose lives?

When you would lose life and your Life marker is on the Shield side, flip it to the Life side and reduce the loss by one (move the marker one step to the right rather than the full loss); if the marker reaches the defeat skull you are defeated (p. 13).
