The Misery Index
Players rank cards describing awful situations by their level of physical pain, emotional trauma, and long-term psychological impact. Each card has a hidden Misery Index rating from 1 to 100, and players build a face-up line of situations in numerical order. Across three rounds, players place new cards into the correct position, arrange three situations from least to most miserable, and finally guess a card’s rating within a 10-point range. The first player to collect 12 cards in their Misery Lane wins.
