The Mother Road: Route 66
Players race classic cars along a two-tiered track that traces the historic Route 66, using a press-your-luck mechanic to push progress or play it safe. The board is a nearly four-foot neoprene mat printed with Route 66 icons and photos, and movement is represented by wooden vehicle tokens modeled after vintage American automobiles and a motorcycle. Turn play revolves around risk management: players choose how far to push their roll or actions to advance toward California while avoiding setbacks. The first player to reach the West Coast wins.
