The Possession

During a weekend in a remote cabin, an ancient evil awakens and begins possessing the guests. Players search the house for pages of a cursed book, along with weapons, objects, and keys needed to reach the attic and basement. Each round, players roll to resist possession, with wounds making them more vulnerable, then choose action cards that determine their available actions and risk of triggering an evil event. They can explore, fight, rest, and heal. Possessed players attack the others and gain additional abilities, while survivors must completely dismember them to stop them. The living players win by finding and burning enough pages before everyone is possessed.

A very different game offering a horror theme, implemented in a fun way. I don't know if there's any other game in which you can be killed by your own severed and evil-possesed leg. PROS - I have no other game providing the same experience. - With the right group, it can be really fun to play. CONS - The rulebook is kinda messy, and some parts of the gameplay are not intuitive or difficult to grasp. - The game has A LOT of luck involved, which may be an issue with many groups.
