The Road to Canterbury

Tempt pilgrims to commit the Seven Deadly Sins, then sell them pardons as they travel toward Canterbury. Play relics and other schemes to encourage sin, but avoid sending pilgrims to their deaths before they can pay for forgiveness or complete their pilgrimage. Earn money by pardoning sins while competing to outwit rival pardoners.

Funny push your luck style game were you tempt pilgrims into committing sins and then sell them fake sin pardons until they die of their sins. You don't always know exactly when the game will take their lives, so it's a careful balance filled with parody at every step. This game can be hard to get to the table because it's strictly 3 player. ★ Art and components ☆ Innovative mechanics ★ Handles 5 or more players ★ Good with min or max players ★ Low time between turns ☆ Comfortable complexity ☆ Re-playability ★☆☆ Enjoyment

An ok game with a cool theme. It didn't flow as well as I was expecting. perhaps additional plays will be more enjoyable.

Los componentes y el diseño del juego es bastante bueno, para ser de producción china está muy bien. El juego es en realidad un juego de cartas sobreproducido hasta decir ¡basta!, añadido a su precio hace que el juego no sea recomendable. Las mecánicas y el desarrollo son simples, pero el juego se queda corto e insípido. Tiene una burocracia bastante grande para el juego que es: coloca un cubito aquí, mueve esto allá, etc, aparte de eso, se puntúa por mil cosas y en sitios diferentes, al final uno está mas pendiente de donde puntuar que del desarrollo del juego. Aunque trate de los pecados capitales, para mi el juego se queda en el limbo: ni bien, ni mal.
