Players align with either the Cute or Evil team and build a formation of themed creatures to contest a 3x3 grid. On a turn, players play cards to claim squares, use abilities such as Repel, Awaken, and Hypnotize to shift ownership or activate effects, and can push opposing cards off the board to disrupt lines. The objective is to create a winning pattern on the grid while countering the opponent’s moves. Gameplay is fast to learn and resolves in short rounds, combining familiar tic-tac-toe tactics with card-driven special powers and positional interaction.
