To the Strongest!
Rules for refighting battles from the biblical era through the Classical, Macedonian, Roman, and late medieval periods. Games use square grids and can support solo battles with around 100 miniatures or large engagements with thousands of figures and multiple players per side. No dice are used. Playing cards activate units, allowing them to move and fight multiple times in a turn, while shooting and melee are resolved quickly and decisively. The system is designed to capture the character of ancient and medieval battles while allowing for significant command decisions.
