2019 · Abstract Strategy
Tonari
Players are villagers on a small island competing to bring in the best catch after a storm leaves the community with a single fishing boat. On each turn, players move the shared boat marker around a modular island and collect fish tiles from the spaces they land on. Fish tiles score points, but in 3–4 player games each player’s total is added to the player on their right before determining the winner, creating indirect incentives and tactical placement. Gameplay focuses on movement planning, tile collection, and anticipating how scores will combine among neighbors.

Taha Afyouni5.9 Interesting game with unique scoring in a 3/4-player game. It can sometimes end prematurely if there aren't any legal moves.
