Too Many Cooks

2001 · Card Game

Too Many Cooks

Players take the roles of cooks collecting ingredients to prepare English, Chinese, Italian, French, and Indian dishes, including vegetarian recipes. Specializing in a cuisine provides bonuses, while failing to prepare a vegetarian dish can result in a penalty. Recipe cards are displayed with their required ingredients. Players begin with one ingredient and acquire others mainly through auctions, or through costly random draws. Whenever a player gains an ingredient, they may immediately cook any available recipe they can complete, taking the card and receiving beans. Previously prepared recipes can be cooked again for a reduced payment.
