Two-Fisted Tales
A roleplaying game inspired by the classic pulp stories of the 1930s and 1940s. Players create heroes from templates such as costumed vigilantes, G-men, magicians, and tough scientists, then use similar templates to build villains including mad scientists, crooked cops, pirates, and evil dictators. Guidelines and random tables help develop plots, locations, villain motivations, investigations, ciphers, codes, and story-centered objects. Characters are defined by abilities, specialties, masteries, and schticks representing gadgets, magic, martial arts, or hypnotic control. The mechanics use ten-sided dice and standard playing cards, with paper miniatures included in the PDF edition.
