Ubongo
Players race to complete a polyomino puzzle shown on a personal card before a sand timer runs out. Each round assigns a specific set of pieces to use; the first players to finish gain better rewards on the shared gem pool. Completed puzzles translate to collecting gems (and in later editions, fixed-point and random gems) according to finishing order. Play proceeds over a fixed number of rounds, and the winner is determined by who has the strongest scoring set of gems at the end.
