World in War: Combined Arms 1939-1945

This World War II strategy game focuses on modern combat tactics and the use of combined arms. Players command the German East and West fronts, the Soviet Union, or the Western Powers, using ground troops, warships, aircraft, and industrial regions. Each turn, players produce units, move forces, and resolve battles while attempting to capture opposing production centers. Land and sea battle wheels reduce reliance on die rolls and reward balanced forces. In three- and four-player games, cooperation must be balanced with competition, as only one player can win. The game includes sculpted plastic units, a mounted board, battle wheels, dice, markers, a comic-book tutorial, and historical background.
