Baghdad: The City of Peace

Set during Baghdad's Golden Age, players act as viziers expanding their family's prestige and developing the city. Move a vizier around a circular board to collect scientific tools, teach students, translate works, and send ships down the Tigris. Each turn, play a card into a tableau that pushes another card out and triggers its ability, creating a programmed hand-management system built around a mega rondel. Build sets of icons to access stronger actions, pursue public objectives like completing the Golden Palace and filling the House of Wisdom, and manage Night Characters, Artifacts, Favour, and Shame tokens for scoring. The highest score wins.
