Pillars of Heracles

Players guide a Greek city-state through the Archaic period, expanding influence by exploring, trading, and waging war across a regional map. Gameplay combines area control, a rondel action wheel, and deck- and tableau-building as players manage resources, recruit heroes, and construct monuments. Players score Glory by controlling cities and regions, completing prophecies, and erecting landmark buildings. Turns involve choosing actions on the rondel, resolving conflicts for territory, developing a personal card engine, and balancing diplomacy with military expansion. The game ends when regional tracks, city control, or major prophecy events trigger the finale; the highest Glory total wins.

This game has a good vibe, all the ideas comes together in a unique way. Proud that I could playtest this, the team really listened to the community and they put great efforst to make the game really good even when was a prototype. It's well-worked out!
