This contemporary roleplaying game supports adventures set from the early 1900s to a cyberpunk future. Players can portray investigators, spies, police officers, treasure hunters, survivors, supernatural creatures, superheroes, or augmented mercenaries in settings ranging from realistic intrigue and pulp adventure to cosmic horror, zombie apocalypse, gothic fantasy, and dystopian science fiction. The modular d20-based system uses standard polyhedral dice and character profiles built from selectable paths. Characters advance through these paths as they gain levels, while the rules can be adapted to the chosen setting and level of complexity.
