Divinity Original Sin: The Board Game

Players take on the roles of awakened heroes in a branching, narrative campaign set across the realms of Rivellon. The game combines exploration through an interactive atlas with tactical, turn-based combat where characters learn skills, equip items and use elemental interactions to create powerful combinations. Players make persistent choices in character creation, dialogue and movement that alter future sessions and open divergent story paths. Play supports cooperative teams of up to four, with campaigns spanning multiple sessions and featuring side quests, varied locations, monsters and cooldown-limited abilities that require strategic timing and coordination.

Kural soruları

Ludoya kural asistanı tarafından kural kitabından yanıtlandı.

How do cooldowns work — when do I slide skill cards and when do they return?

When you use a skill, place its card on your cooldown track in the slot indicated; at the end of rounds slide cards forward along the track and a card returns to your hand when it reaches the final clear slot (see p.23 and p.12).

What happens when an Origin is downed or defeated — can they act and how are they revived?

A downed Origin cannot act until revived; revival is done by healing actions, items, or during Rest rounds following the revive rules, and defeated Origins follow the defeated/downed procedures in combat and interludes (see p.22 and p.10).

How do status effects like Bleeding or Frozen stack and when are they cleared?

Status effects are applied to the status track, slide each round, and are cleared when they fall off the track; some statuses stack as separate tokens while others refresh or behave as described on their cards, and start‑of‑turn effects resolve as specified (see p.19–20).

How do minions choose targets and move — will they go through allies or avoid difficult terrain?

Minions pick targets by the priority rules on their minion card (see p.46), move along the shortest legal path toward their target subject to difficult‑terrain movement and pathing rules, and cannot deliberately move through blocking allies unless the path rules allow it (see p.46–48).

How do I resolve an attack roll — what are the steps and how is damage applied?

Resolve attacks using the five attack steps: choose target(s), roll attack dice, compare hits to defenses/limits, apply damage (including damage type and reductions), then apply any on‑hit effects; detailed steps and dice rules are on p.42–44.

When does a location end and how does the time tracker/journal affect play?

The time tracker advances during rounds and triggers location events or reveals cards; when a location’s exit or finish condition is met follow the interlude/finish steps (including Merchant and journal card procedures) to end or restart a location (see p.13 and p.37–38).
