En Garde

Surprisingly thematic 25-card fencing game for two players. Play cards to advance or retreat, launch direct or indirect attacks, and respond with parries or retreats. Three levels of rules introduce the concepts before adding tactical depth. Each round awards a point to the fencer who lands an attack, or gains the advantage when the cards run out, and the first to five points wins.
