Players adapt species in a shifting ecosystem where food is limited and predators roam. Each round, players draw Trait cards to add traits, create new species, or feed existing ones; traits like Hard Shell and Horns defend against carnivores while traits such as Long Neck enable access to different food sources. Carnivores can attack other species, forcing opponents to respond with defensive or evasive traits. Play proceeds until the Trait deck is reshuffled; the reshuffle triggers the final round. Victory is determined by accumulated food, traits, and population, with a strong emphasis on trait synergies and interactions among players’ strategies.
