Lifeline

Compete for territory on an initially empty hexagonal board by placing stones and cutting off opposing groups. After each placement, remove all enemy groups without a connected path through empty cells to another group of their color, then remove any friendly groups that have become similarly isolated. The first player places two stones on the opening turn, and the last player to make a legal placement wins. A first-turn swap option helps balance the game for two players.
