Mountain Climb Cards

A card-based tool for simulating a party’s difficult mountain climb, with challenges and branching paths along the way. Players or the GM draw and arrange cards to create a random, dungeon-like route. An Entry card begins the journey, while an Exit card often ends it. Cards can be laid face up or face down, placed freely or in a controlled layout, and used with different rules for adjacency, overlap, and available space. Each card represents an area or stage of the climb rather than a detailed location; the GM provides the setting and narrative description.
