A historical wargame covering the 1812 campaign along the Minsk–Moscow Highway, focusing on the near-trap at Smolensk. Players command French and Russian armies as they maneuver corps-sized units across a hex map, contesting the Dniepr River and deciding whether the Russians stand and fight or withdraw. Each hex represents about 1,000 meters, and turns cover roughly three and a half days, with separate nighttime periods of about 10 hours.
