Somnicum

The Sandman has disappeared, leaving his realm without dreams. Players use Dream Pendulums and Magical Sand to create a Real Dream by connecting cards from three themes and matching the Dream Particles shown on them. The game is played over three rounds. Each turn, players move one of two pendulums around the circle of available Dream cards, gaining or spending Magical Sand and adding cards to their dream. Cards placed deeper in the dream score more points, while Nightmares can reduce the final score. Discovery cards provide assistance from magical creatures and artifacts, and players must combine their cards carefully to keep their dream from breaking. The player with the most stars at the end wins.
