SPQR: Warband Combat in the Ancient World

A fast-playing ancient-world skirmish system in which players assemble warbands, scout enemy armies, fight across borders, and raid farms and villages. Forces include groups of Minions that form the bulk of each warband, alongside powerful Heroes who gain talents and develop from battle to battle. A campaign system tracks progression and allows Heroes and warbands to be customized over time. Faction-specific scenarios represent the tactics of Rome, Dacia and Sarmatia, Iberia, Gaul, Macedonia, Persia, Thebes, Sparta, Athens, and other ancient powers, with mercenaries available to expand each force.
