Tornio '44

Finnish landings behind German lines during the Lapland War in October 1944. One player commands Finnish forces in an attempt to establish a bridgehead, seize the vital bridges at Tornio and Kemi, advance along the roads, and capture German prisoners. The other organizes the German retreat, empties supply depots, resists the Finnish advance, and destroys the bridges over the Tornionjoki and Kemijoki Rivers. The game features hidden information, nighttime and fog-of-war rules, indirect fire, air strikes, and Finnish naval landings at several possible locations.
