1824: Austrian-Hungarian Railway

Players build a rail network across an Austro-Hungarian map using yellow, green, brown and gray track tiles, connecting stations and laying routes for trains to run. Companies operate and run trains that generate revenue based on the stations visited; larger and more important stations produce higher payouts to the operating company and its shareholders. Players buy and sell shares, direct companies when they control the most stock, and can own a mix of mountain railways, coal railways, pre-national forerunners, regional companies, and national companies. Play proceeds through share-dealing, company operation, and train runs; the player with the greatest combined cash and share value at game end wins.
