Poorly equipped and armed with whatever they can find, these fanatics rely on faith rather than armor or training. The unit’s moderate combat abilities are offset by its resilience and ability to pass Morale tests, gaining Faith tokens that can be spent to inflict direct Wounds on enemies. Each activation also brings new followers into the ranks, allowing the unit to recover its numbers during the battle. A depleted unit can return to full strength over the course of a few turns.
