Investigators join an expedition into ancient, forbidden ruins and face relics and dangers hidden in an uncharted jungle. Players take on specific investigator roles—an expedition leader, an explorer, a bootlegger, a priest, and a haunted scholar—each with unique abilities and signature cards that shape their playstyle. Gameplay focuses on deckbuilding and scenario play: investigators build specialized decks from the included player cards, manage resources and skills, investigate sites, overcome treachery and enemies, and advance campaign storylines. Cards in this set can be used to build new investigator decks or to augment existing ones for any scenario or campaign.
